Every Sunday is a day for brunch with good company + friends. I visited Tuck Hotel Restaurant and Bar located in the center downtown Los Angeles with my dear friends, the Hangrydiary sisters. You can check out their instagram @hangrydiary. The interior was stunning and modern. Wish I had taken more photos of the food, but here is a recap of what I ate!
Starting off first is the pancakes, which was topped with ricotta, honey, granola, and berries! If you are looking of photos of the pancakes it is available on yelp. These tiny decadent pancakes were the perfect start to our brunch. They were not overwhelmingly big, and gave us a satisfying taste because they were so delicious!
Next on the menu, we tried the Super Vitamin C - Kale Salad. All I can say that this was the best salad I've ever tasted! The salad was topped with mandarines, apples, avocado, cilantro, pecans, and spring onions. Healthy never tasted so good!
Time for sandwiches! I had the pleasure of tasting the Vegan Caponata Sandwich, Smoke Salmon Sandwich, and the Smoked Turkey Sandwich. My favorite was definitely the Smoke Salmon Sandwich, reason being is that I love fish! I'm especially a sucker for salmon, and in this case the Salmon and the rest of the ingredients in the sandwich complemented each other very well.
Another plus I would like to give about this restaurant is their delicious orange juice which they freshly squeeze right in front of you! All in all, I am definitely going to come back and dine at this restaurant again.
