George's at the Cove

I had an amazing brunch at George's at the Cove with my fellow LA blogger friends. I've dined at this restaurant before for dinner time and it was just as spectacular as brunch was.

Here is the full brunch menu:

Anson Mills Farro Salad

This salad was simple but tasted so good my friends and I just couldn't get enough of it.

Chips and Salsa

What you may think as just simple chips and salsa was the perfect appetizer and start to our meal. The chips had a delicious seasoning and the salsa had hints of watermelon that made it taste so refreshing.

Shortrib Panini

I ordered this dish and shared it with all of my friends and we agreed that the tenderness of the meat really made this dish fantastic. It was definitely the highlight of this dish.

Potato Gnocchi

If you know me, I love potato gnocchi so I just had to order this plate. I really loved how the gnocchi just melted in my mouth. The seasoning of this dish was also perfection.

Lunch Special

They called it a special for a reason. Fell in love with the pea puree beneath the fish.

Seared Tuna

This dish was light and perfect for lunch. I also love raw fish which made it even better!

Marinated and Grilled Fresh Fish Tacos

Who doesn't love tacos? This was also just a perfect light dish for lunch. It really represented San Diego!

Cemita Burger

My favorite part of this dish was definitely the crispy chicken. It had a nice crunch to it!
